Our nurses and healthcare assistants work with the doctors and deal with blood tests, dressings, immunisations, ear syringing, cervical smears, and routine health checks. Please make an appointment with reception.
Preventing illness is far better than treating established disease. For advice with regard to a healthier lifestyle i.e. stopping smoking, diet, exercise etc. please ask the doctor or make an appointment to see the nurse.
The midwife runs this clinic on a Monday and Thursday.
Child Health Clinic
Dr Hawkhead runs a Child Health Surveillance clinic on a Tuesday and Wednesday.
Well Person Clinics
Well person checks are available to patients between 16 - 75 years of age who have not seen a GP in the last 3 years and patients over 75 who have not seen the doctor in the last year.
Immunisations are given at the child health clinic for babies and small children. For tetanus and travel immunisations please see the nurse.
Certain minor operations are performed in the surgery. The doctors will be able to advise you.
